Final Images

Here are my final images, I might rearrange the order, although this was the order in which I created them.

Week 7

Here are some more pictures, more to come!

This weekend I am planning to new a new photo shoot, working on aging with people. I will be doing this by taking three pictures of eyes, one of a child, one of a teenager, and one of someone older. I will then by compiling all three images to make one picture. I am also finishing some other projects.

Week 6

Here are some more pictures, I am thinking of switching the picture of the old road, and maybe retaking the first apple picture in better lighting. Still I am planning to finish up a few other started images, such as the molding fruit, clothing, and people.

Week 5

This week I worked on editing some new pictures as well as planning for future photo shoots. Right now the only time I can take pictures with my schedule is Sunday morning. So this weekend I'm planning to finish a lot of the combined photos, and retake a few that didn't turn out that well.

Week 4

This picture is of seasons with the added spring picture.

This picture is for day and night, the colors are similiar so I might retake this idea with different objects so there is more of a difference.

This is the idea of what I was going to do with food. I am going to change the picture of the strawberry with a raspberry so it is matching.

Week 3

This picture I was going to use to represent modern day technology.

In this picture I am going to be using seasons and time. This is only two of the seasons, but I will soon take pictures to represent spring and summer. Once I have all the pictures I will even out the size between the two. I used photo shop on the leave pictures to boost the complimentary colors. For spring I am planning to take a picture of a flower, and for summer I was thinking about taking a picture of a sun.

This picture I am going to use to represent fresh for fresh food, I am then waiting for some of the raspberries to mold to represent it aging and decaying with time. I think with these two pictures I am going to focus on texture of the raspberries.

This picture is a sample of what I am going to do. Since my theme deals with time I am just trying to get a start on my pictures. These pictures of the roses are "dead", or frozen, I then am going to add fresh pictures with this creating a combination, to do this I am might just go buy roses rather than wait for spring because of lack of time. In the final photo, I would like the rose in the ice to be the largest.

This week I brainstormed a lot and figured out what I was going to do, since my theme is time related I am trying to start all my projects and am hoping to finish them soon.

Week 2

This picture I am going to be using for my day and night part of my time theme. This was at sunrise and I am going to be creating a diptych. In contrast the other picture will be of sunset.

This picture I might use as a collaged image, taking pictures of the mountain form different views at different times of the day. This would be during the middle of the day.

This picture I will be using for my comparison with clothing as time progresses. This will represent old-fashioned, or vintage. In comparison, for the modern day I will be using lots of bright colors and movement.

Concentration Update

This week  I composed a list of what ideas I want to include in my concentration. I began brainstorming these ideas and what and how I am going to compose each picture with and of. So far I am planning to explore weather and seasons, people aging, rust or copper aging compared to stainless steel, technology, clothing (vintage vs. modern), day and night, leaves (fall and spring), the stages of a flower (bud, opening, blooming), and food. Theses are all going to be connected to my concentration theme of time.

This picture has to do with my idea of time, for the rose in a sense is "frozen" in time.

This picture is similiar to my second picture, so I don't think I will use this picture.

This picture I think shows good space, I am planning to retake this pciture to remove some of the background. I am not sure if I will use this in my concetration.


Last weekend I took photos for my concentration. My first thought was to to take pictures of time and weather with the seasons with different natural objects. So last weekend I took pictures of some winter scenes and objects. I have changed my concentration idea to time how things age and change with both natural and man-made objects, expanding my concentration theme. The pictures that I took last weekend will help go into one compiled image of weather and seasons. I also explored in photo shop improving these images.
